Tampa Bay’s premiere coffee shop where New York style bagels are paired with everything breakfast and lunch. On the corner of Dale Mabry and Kennedy, 18 Bagels Co. came to fruition in August of 2018 and has been on a crash course to the top of Tampa’s breakfast scene.

Founded by brothers-in-law Ean Mendelsohn and Jordan Levy, 18 Bagels Co is an absolutely unique experience. Both of them being Plant High alumni, these two have Tampa Bay in their veins. However, with Levy’s family being from Toronto, he knows a thing or two about northern bagels. He wanted to replicate the Northern bagel taste here in Tampa, so he did just that! Bringing in machinery that is able to replicate the same water found in the mountains of New York, Levy is able to enjoy the same exact bagel he would get in the North East, here in Tampa!

18 Bagels Co, as you can guess, serves 18 different types of bagels ranging from plain to rainbow all the way to French toast. But this name was actually a coincidence. When Levy and Mendelsohn were finalizing the menu, they noticed that they had 18 different types of bagels they wanted. With 18 being such a symbolic number in the Jewish community, they knew it had to be a sign. And thus, 18 Bagels Co became the name!
